The power of AND....

Alex Wheelan from Vanguard Investments gave an insightful presentation at the Financial Liverpool November meeting. Alex posed interesting questions:

• Should we be comparing Active v Passive investments or is the debate down to fund costs?
• Should we be looking to combine Active and Passive to get the best of both worlds?
• If so, how do we decide the proportions in a client portfolio?

The presentation was well attended and the debate continued over lunch and networking.

During the meeting Julie Calvert read an emotional tribute to Mike Morrison of AJ Bell, one of our regular speakers and a true gentleman. Mike died suddenly recently, leaving a young family. Our thoughts are with them at this very sad time. We sent him a resounding round of applause from Financial Liverpool.
