GDPR

January’s lecture was provided by Jamie Taylor from DWF, on the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Jamie spoke about the upcoming changes that will be implemented in May 2018 and the implications on the current regulations that are in place, with a particular focus on general insurance. The key elements of the Data Protection Bill were also examined in an insurance context. A very insightful lecture on a complex subject, we would like to thank Jamie for his time.
