The Pensions Income Dilemma

On Friday 23rd February Stephen Hunter from Seneca presented an enlightening presentation on Retirement Income Challenges.

He spoke about the continued opportunities of the retirement market, post pension freedom mentioning the Defined Benefits transfer market but warned of the challenges that included inflation, people living longer and the timing decision to take retirement all of which place risk on the advisors who have to cope and navigate these challenges with the aspirations of their clients.

Stephen then concluded with how to define, and potentially deliver, sustainable income through value investing.
