In this educational breakfast CPD session, Louise will cover what a Lasting Power of Attorney (LPA) is, when they are relevant for clients and how they differ to a Court of Protection Deputyship.
Target Audience: Any financial or legal professional who advises clients on the use of LPAs or who needs to have a better understanding of LPAs. This will also appeal to those in the wider CII membership affected on a personal or family level.

About the speaker
Louise is a Senior Associate at Brabners. She advises high net worth individuals and trusts and deals with a broad range of private client work including Will drafting, Inheritance Tax Planning, administration of estates, elderly clients, Lasting Powers of Attorney and Trust work including acting as a professional Trustee.
She has considerable experience in Court of Protection work and acts as a Professional Deputy. Louise is also a member of Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) and is chair of the Liverpool STEP branch.
