About the speakers:
Stephen English
Stephen joined Blankstone Sington in 2002 and is now Assistant Director, responsible for researching stocks for their AIM Inheritance Tax Portfolio Service which he has successfully managed since its inception in 2010.
Stephen also co-chairs the firm’s Model Portfolio Committee, is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (FSCI) and also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation (CFA®). The CFA® designation is globally recognised and attests to a holder's success in a rigorous and comprehensive study program in the field of investment management and research analysis.
Stephen's investment thoughts have been featured on Sky News as well as the Financial Times and Investors Chronicle and he is progressively gaining a reputation for his tripartite investment approach spanning quantitative, qualitative and psychological disciplines. His style of blending growth and value allows him to tilt a portfolio accordingly, helping reduce relative performance volatility, prolonged periods of underperformance and to deliver strong relative and absolute returns over the course of a market cycle.

John Fearon
With a notable track record of over twenty five years in the intermediary market, John has an in-depth understanding of the needs of both investor and institution. A former Broker Consultant, IFA business owner, Regional Manager for a National WM Firm and owner of an Irish Domiciled Investment Management Company, John’s career has been diverse. He currently owns and runs a freelance consultancy business, Investment Connections, where he offers services to emergent boutique asset managers and service providers, in the past being involved at grass root level with companies such as Midas Capital Partners, Octopus Investment Managers, IT Asset Management, Oceanic Asset Management and 24 Asset Management.
Such dynamic experience has enabled John to act as the face of several emergent boutiques in the UK (and latterly Ireland) where he applies creativity, commitment, experience and considerable energy to gain brand recognition and market penetration.
