This workshop is aimed at those with a specific interest in the process of Defined Benefit Transfer Advice and is intended to be fully interactive. Martin Clubbs, Pension Specialist at Old Mutual Wealth shall be in attendance to facilitate the session and to provide technical input, delegates are also encouraged to provide questions ahead of the event for discussion on the day.

Proposed learning objectives from the session and key discussion points are as follows:
• Identifying the key factors when deciding to transfer a DB pension?

• Sustainability of CETVs - dealing with a CETV which has been reduced in value

• Usefulness of TVAS reports in the advice process

• Managing the Lifetime Allowance

Martin is a Pension Specialist with over 20 years market experience. He has worked with advisers in both the corporate and individual pensions market supporting them through the ever-changing pensions landscape.
