CPD Presentation
Our session will identify the key changes to our data protection laws that GDPR will bring, with a particular focus on general insurance. We will consider what the practical implications are in relation to areas such as data subject rights, data controller and data processor obligations and how fraud investigations are impacted. We will also review the new Data Protection Bill and pick out the key elements in the context of insurance.

About the speaker:
Jamie Taylor is a Partner at DWF LLP Solicitors and has been an insurance lawyer for 20 years. He is a data protection practitioner who provides advisory and compliance advice to insurers as well as dealing with litigation that arises out of unauthorised and accidental data disclosures. He is a Certified Information Privacy Professional (Europe) and is currently assisting several insurers with their GDPR compliance programmes. Avid LFC supporter and Liverpool born and bred!
