Local awards

Each year at the Annual Dinner, The Insurance Institute of Luton & Hertfordshire recognises achievements in the CII examinations, both general insurance and financial services, with the following awards:

  • The Mike Jackson award - The highest PFS qualification and result. This award was presented in memory of Mike Jackson FCII a past President of the Luton & St Albans Institute (as we were then known) in 1992, 1993 and 2005. An inspirational and innovative man.

  • The Peter Checketts award - The highest general insurance qualification and result. This award was presented in memory of Peter Checketts ACII a past President of the Luton & St Albans Institute in 2006.

The awards will be based upon the highest qualification and result achieved in each category during the calendar year.

The awards are open to all CII & PFS members who belong to The Insurance Institute of Luton and Hertfordshire regardless of where they actually sit the examinations.
