Annual General Meeting 19th April 2017

The Annual General Meeting of the Insurance Institute of Luton & St. Albans was held on 19th April at the Sun Hotel in Hitchin.

After being President for three terms, this was the opportunity to thank Branko Bjelobaba for his inspiring leadership in an extremely successful year.

Graham Williams has now received the presidential badge of office and with Michael Brett as his deputy they will lead the local institute for the next 12 months. Graham. has worked for over 30 years in the insurance industry, providing training and consultancy services throughout the UK and on the rare occasion, abroad. Graham has worked for and been involved with the CII for many years and his dedication and professionalism will continue to improve our offering in the coming year.

The Officers submitted their reports in advance and there was the opportunity to reflect on our wide ranging, relevant and varied CPD programme we offered to our members in 2016/7.

Feedback has been consistently excellent with many events full to capacity. We provided members 26 hours CPD for the second year running which is excellent for a smaller Institute.
