Annual Golf Day 2017

On the 25th of May the Luton and St Albans CII held its annual golf day at Aldwickbury Golf Course in Harpenden.

The golf day was sponsored by Allianz Insurance, Luton and subsidised by the Insurance Institute.

A total of 25 golfers played on the day and they were greeted by a very warm May day with a golf course which was immaculate, challenging but also a little forgiving for the higher handicappers.

As usual there were plenty of prizes up for grabs with the Team prize being won by the Lumin Wealth team http://www.luminwealth.com/ headed up by Martin Cotter who scored 93 points and the Individual winner being Phil Bass from Intellectus Insurance Brokers http://intellectus-insurance.co.uk/ who managed to score 41 points.

Having hosted this golf day for many years and being faced with numerous challenges including fog and heavy rain 2017's was by far the best both in respect of quality of course and weather.
