Managing the Wellbeing of Lone and Remote workers talks at Hitchin and Radlett
We were delighted to welcome Pete Bumpus, Mental Health and Safety training officer at Oakwood Training to present at both Hitchin and Radlett. Peter highlighted the practical ways to manage the wellbeing of lone and remote workers, as well as providing tips to improve stress management.
On a number of occasions we have held the event at 2 locations so that members have a choice and this has proved successful.
The presentations were thought provoking and very interesting and well received by our members. Here is a selection of the feedback we received.
Feedback from Hitchin:-
Fantastic event. A passionate, engaging and personable speaker covering a difficult subject matter in a memorable way. Even if you were not a lone worker and didn't manage lone workers (like me) the lessons on mental health were clear.
An excellent talk touching the tip of the iceberg on what used to be a taboo subject which is rightfully being recognised, with support networks being established and implemented to help employees.
Feedback from Radlett:-
Good content, well presented. Event welcoming and well organised.
Really good event - Peter is a clear and engaging speaker and brought the subject to life. The personal examples of stress and how he dealt with it were very illuminating.
