Overview
Losses of historical buildings are thankfully quite rare but usually have devasting consequences due to the irreplaceable nature of their contents and the challenges around reinstatement of ornate décor due in part to the decline in skills.
Note, there is no entry to the Notre Dame and visibility is likely to be reduced.

John is a regional director for Sedgwick International UK, major loss team leader and property expert. He has been responsible for property claims worth tens of millions and has given expert advice on values at risk for historic buildings with sums insured up to £100 million.
