David Williams, Senior Executive & Non Executive Director & Former Managing Director, AXA

David has over 30 years’ experience in General Insurance, roles including Chief Commercial Underwriter at one of AXA’s largest branches, Reinsurance Manager, Casualty Insurance Manager, Managing Director Claims and Managing Director of Underwriting & Technical Services.David is very active in campaigning in a number of areas, particularly with regard to problems with claims farming and compensation culture. In 2018 he was recognised as Social Media Influencer of the year, and in 2019 he won both the Insurance Post Claims Achievement Award and was named Insurance Personality of the Year at the British Insurance Awards.

Chris McKie - Managing Director - Vizion Network Limited

Chris has worked in the automotive sector for 30 years, developing a wide breadth of knowledge, experience and strong relationships in the insurer, manufacturer and collision sectors.A founder member and Managing Director of Vizion Network, his key responsibilities include, commercial and technical strategies, IT, Operations, Sales, Marketing and Finance. Chris is credited with conceptualising several important IT systems and processes, used widely in the industry, taking Vizion to a FT 1000 Europe’s Fastest Growing Companies in 12 years.A champion of sustainability, ethical behaviour and an influencer for positive change, this was further recognised in 2016 when he was awarded the title of Industry Knight by the ABP.

Richard Billyeald – CTO - Thatcham Research

Richard joined Thatcham Research in 2017 as Chief Technical Officer. Thatcham undertake research into vehicles and vehicle technology on behalf of the UK motor insurance industry, in order to understand risk, mitigate claims and influence external stakeholders. Richard is responsible for all of the organisation’s engineering operations and research, providing direction for the technical agenda and developing collaborative partnerships with government and industry.Richard’s previous roles have been in the design and delivery of cutting-edge automotive and motorsport engineering programmes, having previously worked at transmissions specialist Xtrac Ltd, Renault Formula 1 and Williams Advanced Engineering.

Peter Bousquet - Co-Founder and CRO - HUMN.AI

Peter has worked in banking and structured finance and corporate banking for 15 years with GE Capital, Lloyds Bank and J.P. Morgan. In the last 5 years he has focused on corporate development in fintech. In 2017 he co-founded Humn.ai a UK based insurtech offering data driven commercial fleet insurance and risk management for commercial fleets.

Mike Brockman – Chief Executive - Thingco

With close to 4 decades in the insurance sector, Mike Brockman has built a reputation for his vision, values and passion to drive positive change within the motor insurance market. He has been on one of the industry’s leading innovators, using telematics to drive down the cost of motor insurance for young people as well as providing a mechanism to educate them to drive more safely and responsibly.

Ian Davies – Partner - Kennedys

Ian is a Head of Kennedys’ Motor team. He qualified as a solicitor in 1999 and has been advising the motor industry for approaching 25 years on a wide variety of pre and post-litigation strategies and on the analysis of claimant representative’s behaviour and tactics. Ian handles a broad selection of complex, large and catastrophic loss motor cases and has extensive experience in complex and high value credit hire cases, as well as an in-depth and practical knowledge of claimant alternative business structures.

Adrian Gilbert – Managing Director - SX3 Claims Limited

Adrian is a highly skilled and versatile insurance professional, with a successful track record in managing claims operations, strategy, customer relations, people, supply chain and technical. He has a wealth of experience across a number of lines of business, principally Motor, Property and Casualty, but also Product Protection and Legal Expenses.Adrian has performed a number of roles within claims including Claims Director, Head of Motor Claims, Head of UK Casualty Claims, Strategic Development Manager, Supply Chain Manager and Technical Claims Manager working for QBE, Ensign Motor Policies, Prudential, BGL Group, Coral Insurance and Endsleigh.
