SAFE Gorton project

Thanks to everyone who voted for SAFE Gorton throughout May - we won!

We’re delighted to share with you that SAFE Gorton has been chosen as a winner in the Aviva Community Fund and has been awarded £5,000. The judges scored the entry highest against some very strong competition. Representatives from the SAFE Gorton project kindly spoke at our AGM in April and our President. Fintan Griffin has pledged his support to the fantastic project.

Fintan, the team from A. J. Gallagher’s and the IIM put forward the bid to the Aviva Community Fund for £5000 towards the project. Thanks to everyone for voting online for the project throughout May. The win will make a big difference to the project, find out more about how funds are spent and the great work they do. It will help purchase additional equipment such as stage lighting and musical instruments for the centre. The team are now looking forward to the exclusive ‘Aviva Community Fund Broker Celebration’ event in London on Tuesday 15th September 2015.
