Council roles available - get involved!

Secretary
This role is available from January 2017. Please contact the office for details of responsabilites. It must be noted that the Secretary is greatly assisted by the office and also the delegation of other tasks such as: monitoring that activities are inline with the Constitution is overseen by the Constitution Officer.

Equality and Diversity Champion
This role is available with an immediate start. Please contact the office for details of responsabilites. This roles involves liaising with all committees of the institute to ensure that committee members understand their E&D responsabilities.

Deputy President
This role is available following the AGM in April 2017. Please contact the office for details of responsabilites. As the role is rather involved and has a high level of responsability, it is general noted that experience as a council member is necessary.

Dinner Secretary/ Deputy Dinner Secretary
A role is available following the AGM in April 2017. Please contact the office for details of responsabilites. The roles are responsible for organising the Annual Dinner held in November.

Council Member
The council always welcomes new members to join and an ideal time is at the AGM in April.
