Future of Insurance

The New Class 2016-2017 will see the successful applicants attend six soft skills workshops, plus they will be invited on a trip to Lloyd's of London. The workshops, such as project management, communications, report writing and team work, will train the group in the skills required to work on a project on an industry hot topic.

This is the second year the programme has run, developed originally by Stephen Bridge ACII, currently Deputy President of The Insurance Institute of Manchester. Mr Bridge was himself a successful candidate of the CII's New Generation programme a few years ago which included talks from Members of Parliament and various soft skills training courses, which gave him the idea to develop a programme based in Manchester.
