We are currently seeking a Communications Officer
The Insurance Institute of Manchester is currently seeking a Communications Officer to sit on our local institute council.
You might never have thought about joining your Local Institute council, but there’s so much to discover and benefit from. Being on the council is an opportunity to help the careers of others - both those new to the industry and those who are well established.
The role of the communications officer is to ensure that details of the institute’s key events, activities, committees, and news updates are publicised and communicated appropriately to the membership and to the wider market, as necessary.
Consequently, the communications officer will develop a close working relationship with the CII’s regional membership team, as well as the Insurance Institute of Manchester council/committee leads.
No experience necessary and full training on web and e-flyer systems will be given.
Main responsibilities
- Website + e-comms - updating both platforms to promote events and activities
- Social media – manage IIM social media platforms.
- Large scale event comms – promoting our large event - Style in the City, Annual Dinner etc
- The Journal / Trade Press – working with CII regional team.
