Learning Objectivies
By the end of the lecture, delegates will identify:
- various forms of Cyber Crime and their relevance to U.K. and multi-national corporations
- common loss scenarios and how they apply across industries
- preventative risk management practices companies can put into place
- how a cyber insurance policy is designed to respond to these threats

Speaker Biography
Lindsey joined CFC in 2016 as their International Cyber Team Lead, previously working for the likes of Chubb Insurance and W.R. Berkley in Canada having dedicated her career to underwriting Technology and Cyber risks for multi-national corporations. Building on her international experience within the cyber market, she is responsible in her current role for managing the cyber portfolio across the UK, Canada and Australia with a specialised focus on cyber crime as it pertains to SME businesses. A respected speaker and market commentator, Lindsey is actively involved in multiple industry events both in the UK and internationally including BIBA and PLUS and was recently named as one of the 26 rising stars in Insurance Business UK’s 2017 Young Guns edition.

Learning objectives
By the end of the lecture, delegates will identify:
- the anatomy of a cyber event - why clients need to improve awareness & risk assessment
- manage cyber risk - understand the 5 elements of the holistic approach that Risk Engineers should look for
- a view from the trenches - what does “good” look like from a Risk Engineers perspective and what are the issues seen in the field
- understand the clients risk - how to ask the right questions not just more questions

Speakers biography
Nick joined Chubb in 2003, prior to which he worked in the risk management and loss prevention field for both a commercial broker and a UK composite insurer. Nick is an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Loss Adjusters and an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute. Nick has multi-disciplined expertise but specialises in both Errors & Omissions risk evaluations, including advice to clients on contract & project management, and in Cyber & Information Security risk management being Certified in Information Security Management Practices, and a Certified ISO27001 Lead Implementer and Lead Auditor. Nick is currently based in London but his duties cover the whole country.

Learning objectives
By the end of the lecture, delegates will identify:
- the threat landscape look like today in cyberspace?
- imaginary cyber threats and why do we hear about them?
- the real cyber threats and what can we do about them?
- how you can protect yourself, as an individual and as a company.

Speaker biography
Alex Haynes is a Certified Ethical Hacker with over 10 years experience in offensive security, credited for finding hundreds of vulnerabilities in everything from websites to mobile applications. He has hall of fame mentions for vulnerabilities discovered in Pinterest, Sophos and many others and is a former top 10 ranked researcher for bugcrowd – a vulnerability disclosure platform. He is a regular speaker on vulnerability disclosure and offensive security at information security conferences and is currently Information Security Manager at CDL, an insurance software house.
