Speaker biography:
Ariel Tivon is the 2nd generation owner of Tivon Fine Jewellery – a Family company founded in 1963 by his father in South Africa.
Whilst growing up around gems & jewellery and being trained at an early age, Ariel studied and qualified as an accountant and auditor with PwC.
But when the call came to expand the family business, Ariel brought the business to the UK in 2003 and in time became the premiere suppliers of high-end coloured gemstone jewellery to the trade.
Being named as one of the official partners to the late HM The Queen’s Diamond Jubilee (in collaboration with The Army & Navy Club’s 175th Anniversary) in 2011 was an award which meant a great deal and testament to his father’s legacy.
Ariel is passionate about gems, diamonds and jewellery and not only runs the business but also designs most of Tivon’s product, hosts a gems & jewellery podcast and is a proud member of the National Association of Jewellers.
