Your local institute council invites you to attend our 2023 Annual General Meeting in order to hear first-hand reports from council members on previous and future activities and vote on the appointment of new council members.

If you feel you could make a positive contribution, it is an ideal first step to becoming involved.

AGM Notice

All Council nominations are listed below and will be approved at the AGM.

Please contact the office prior to the AGM if you would like to make an objection(s) to any of the points or to request a copy of the 2021/22 Annual Report or 2022 minutes. The existing Council recommends that members vote in favour of all the resolutions being proposed at the AGM, which they consider to be in the best interests of the institute as a whole.

NOTICE is hereby given that the AGM of the Insurance Institute of Manchester will be held for the following purposes:

1. Proposed President of the Institute for 2023/2024
2. Proposed Deputy President of the Institute for 2023/2024
3. To receive and adopt the Treasurer’s Report and Accounts for 2022
4. To receive and adopt the Annual Report of Council for 2023/2024
5. To elect Vice-Presidents for the session 2023/2024
6. To elect ex-officio members of the Council for the session 2023/2024
7. To re-elect Council members for the session 2023/2024
8. To appoint BDO LLP Accountants for the session 2023/2024
9. Appoint a Charities Representative for the session 2023/2024

Special Business:

  1. Transfer of office
  2. Date of next year's AGM
