Webinar: Approaching the Festive Season with Mindfulness and an Open Heart
Are the holiday season's negative emotions casting a shadow over your festive spirit?
Do not worry; you are not alone. Whether you love or hate Christmas (or are somewhere in-between), we can all experience a rollercoaster of feelings, from stress and loneliness to grief and unrealistic expectations. But there can be a path to better emotional resilience during this time, and it is through mindfulness.
Join our mindfulness class, where you can learn how to harness the power of mindfulness to navigate the holiday season with grace and poise through various mindfulness tools and techniques.
During this session, you will also be led through an adapted Open Heart and Connection meditation, which will encourage you to bring to mind a difficulty and something we find pleasant around this time of year, and then to imagine what difficulties and joys others may be experiencing too. A great reminder to hold a wider container for our experience, taking in the "good" and the "bad" rather than fusing with one particular idea.
Who would benefit from attending?
The session is for anyone who wants to experience meditation and mindfulness and is open to people of all levels.
There will also be an opportunity to learn about some of the new and exciting mindfulness sessions that you are invited to throughout 2024!
