Andrea Scott, Senior Marine Placement Broker at Marsh Ltd

Andrea Scott has worked in the Manchester Marine insurance industry for 40 years specialising in cargo and freight insurance. Starting at Aon at the age of 16, where she worked her way up from marine trainee broker to senior broker. She stayed at Aon for 14 years and then decided to try her hand as a marine underwriter at Allianz, where she worked for 8 years. Andrea then joined Aviva as a senior underwriter and remained there for 10 years. Then in 2017 she was enticed to go back into broking at Marsh as Senior Marine Placement Broker where she works currently.
