Overview:
The aim of this one hour session is to differentiate between having an emotion and doing something about it. It will introduce and establish the importance of emotional intelligence.
Learning objectives
At the end of this event, the delegate will be able to identify:
• the background, myths and models of EI
• self-awareness and regulation
• empathy, social skills and quick wins.
Speaker profile
Bryan Shaw’s working life began in the Freight Forwarding industry at Felixstowe, with a short stint at Dover. Starting as messenger and office junior, he finally escaped the profession at the level of Operations Director. Since 1998 Bryan has been responsible for much of the training manual design and production at Radius 360, for both general programmes and bespoke training to match client-specific requirements.
