Overview:
Next gen – compliance as a constant in your career?
The Insurance Institute of Mid Kent is hosting an exclusive event for Young Professionals in the industry who may not have had the same on-boarding or want to have a safe space amongst fellow industry colleagues to ask the questions that they’ve always wanted to ask!
Love it or hate it, compliance with the FCA is always going to be part of your career so we will look at what the conduct rules mean to you and how personal conduct can affect employability in the future. We will then focus on some of the key issues of the day such as cyber, AI, climate and, critically, what can be done to attract young people into the insurance industry. Our council members will be on hand to meet and greet for what is set to be a great evening.
We will provide welcome drinks and then food and networking after the talk and would love you to attend more events and perhaps have some of you even get involved with us and drive the future of your local CII here in Mid Kent.
Learning objectives - by the end of the talk you will gain an overview of:-
- What the FCA conduct rules require of you;
- Why training is critical in your career;
- Key issues right now affecting the insurance sector;
- What can be done to encourage young people into insurance.
