Session Overview
Learners will gain insight into all areas of the I10 syllabus and build confidence to take their exam, using real-life examples to illustrate the many principles covered in the unit. The training is suitable for learners starting the I10 unit and continuing their journey towards Cert CII.
Learning Objectives
By attending this event, delegates will develop an understanding of:
- The insurance broking market
- The roles and responsibilities of an insurance broker
- The principles of contract and agency as they apply to insurance brokers
- The key legal, regulatory and financial issues impacting insurance brokers
- Conduct and culture within the broking environment
- How to approach the I10 exam with confidence
Session description
Interactive training sessions will involve going through the chapters in detail, including end of chapter questions to develop a broad understanding of the syllabus. Revision sessions will focus on mock exams and revision quizzes allowing learners to build confidence to take their IF10 exam
All attendees will receive a broad range of training & revision materials such as chapters notes, end-of-chapter questions, mock exams and revision quizzes, designed by Adrian to support preparation towards the IF1 exam. All sessions will be recorded to allow learners to re-listen as part of their studies.
Speaker bio
Adrian runs a specialist insurance training business (Intuition Training), coaching on many different Cert CII, Dip CII and ACII units. He runs training programmes and revision sessions with insurers, brokers, claims specialists and MGAs, from single office firms through to global organisations, supporting hundreds of learners towards successful completion of their CII qualifications.
