Newcastle Institute annual 5-a-side football competion 2017

On the evening of 19 June the Insurance Institute of Newcastle upon Tyne held its annual 5-a-side football tournament at Powerleague Centre, Gateshead.

The format was that all teams played one another once, with one point awarded for a draw and three points awarded for a win. The four teams with the highest points total after these round robin of games were to progress to the semi-finals. The successful teams were CDC Wealth Management with 4 points, Reeves Independent with 5 points, Bespoke Utility Solutions with 9 points and St James' Place with 10 points.

In the semi-finals St James Place beat CDC Wealth Management 1-0 and Reeves Independent beat Bespoke Utility Solutions 5-2.

In the final Reeves beat St James Place 6-2.
