Young Professionals’ Group 2017 Social at Lane7

Members were greeted by our social secretary Omar and received their ‘good for 1 drink’ vouchers and then the evening kicked things off with a game of bowling. As the skilful players competed for first place, some players tried to conceal their lack of practice through humour. In the end Captain Omar’s team took the win!

After shooting some pool, the hot buffet was served and everyone tucked into the succulent heat wings, tasty cheeseburger sliders, fried mac n’ cheese bites, garlic bread and much more.

The last of the evening’s activities included ping-pong, where some members had an exciting time losing their balls and then shamelessly belted out songs in the private karaoke booth.

We tried to capture as many moments of the evening and have a few photos of the fun, networking social event.

We also held a raffle in support of our President’s chosen charity, North of England Children’s Cancer Research (NECCR), charity number 510339 and you can find out more about the amazing work they do at https://www.neccr.org.uk

On the night, we raised £64 for the NECCR – thank you to everyone for your kind donations. Thanks was also given to the companies who donated raffle prizes; they were Towergate Risk Solutions and Bruce & Co. Legal & Financial Ltd.
