North East National Forum Officer vacancy

As you are aware the CII’s Local Institute National Forum is attended by 18 local institute representatives, known as National Forum Officers, who meet four times a year to proactively discuss projects, initiatives, and concerns from the local institute network directly with the CII.

Each region across the UK is represented by two National Forum Officers and we currently have a position available for a North East National Forum Officer to take up position for an initial three-year term from July 2021. This role should be taken up by one of the current Regional Forum Officers across the North East.

Help to shape the local membership proposition!

The role as National Forum Officer will help shape local engagement and give a voice to the institutes across the North East. You will work closely with the other National Forum Officers across the UK, as well as the CIIs regional membership team to develop process, protocol, and solutions to further develop the local membership proposition.

National Forum Officers are expected to attend four Local Institute National Forum meetings per year, as well as co-chair four regional meetings per year. These meetings are currently held via TEAMS but two of the Local Institute National Forum meetings will be held in the CII’s head office once restrictions fully lift.

This is a voluntary, non-executive position, with an appointment made for an initial three-year term, and renewable up to a maximum term of six years.
