ABOUT THE SESSION

Recent case law in the area of public liability has revealed some trends in the way that the courts are dealing with liability issues.

An analysis of these trends is going to be very useful when we begin to look at new classes of claims likely to arise, especially following the Covid-19 pandemic. This webinar will analyse recent case law in the UK and provide an overview of key liability trends and where they are likely to lead in the coming years and what we should be doing now as an insurance industry to prepare.

LEARNING OUTCOMES

By the end of the session, participants will be able to:

  • Identify recent case law trends in public liability.
  • Understand how these trends will develop and impact the insurance industry.
  • Implement a preparation strategy for the emerging trends in public liability.
