Joint Learning & Development (CPD) Conference 2017

Bookings are now open for the next joint Learning and Development (CPD) Conference, being hosted by the Insurance Institutes of Sussex and North Downs at Lingfield Park Resort on Thursday 19 October 2017.

Focusing on topical issues relevant to all involved in general insurance, this event will deliver over 5 hours of quality CPD to members and others who join us for the day.

With a strong line-up of experts in their respective fields, speakers include:

• Mark Dunham, Aviva - returning to explain the impacts of catastrophes and Black Swan events

• Tracy Head, Kennedys - addressing the growing problem of public liability claims arising from food poisoning

• Det. Chief Inspector Oliver Little, IFED - talking through some of the fake claims he and his team have investigated since they were established

• Peter Faulding, Specialist Group International - providing an insight into the thought processes involved in forensic investigations

• Adrian Nash - speaking on concise time management

We are also delighted to welcome back Sian Fisher, CEO CII, who will set out the Chartered Insurance Institute's vital mission to reinvigorate itself, engage with the public and re-engage with its members.
