Heena Patel is a certified yoga and meditation instructor, specialising in therapeutic yoga for anxiety trained at a leading yoga therapy institute in London. She offers practical tools to empower people to move from a state of stress to calm, and has a passion for helping people to improve their mental and physical wellbeing. Having worked in the corporate world for a large part of her career, she understands how balancing the pressures of work and everyday life can impact the mind and body, and she enjoys sharing techniques that can benefit anyone regardless of flexibility, age or mobility. Over the pandemic, Heena has been able to reach out to people online, and she is honoured to be able to offer members of the CII a dedicated space for self-care and inner calm.

60-minute online chair-based yoga, sponsored by the CII
Thursday 4th March, 6-7pm on Zoom
The session will include breath work, chair-based stretches to release tension from the mind and body, mindful meditation and guided deep relaxation.
By participating in this session, you acknowledge that you do so at your own risk as with any form of exercise, and that you are responsible for ensuring that you practice within your limits, respecting any past or existing injuries or medical conditions. You should ensure that you have consulted your physician with respect to any past or present injury, health problems or any other condition or medication that may affect your participation in this yoga session.
This session will be on the Zoom platform. This can be accessed via mobile phones or tablets if restrictions apply to PC's/latops
