Event Overview
During this session Vince will provide an overview of customers behaviours since the introduction of pension freedoms, and what the implications of this for customers.
He’ll also look at some of the dangers around pension planning, particularly focusing on the tapered annual allowance and the money purchase annual allowance. This will also include planning methods which can be used by many clients to avoid these dangers.
Finally, Vince will look at strategies for income drawdown planning, from both an income and death benefit perspective.

About the speaker
Vince Smith-Hughes is Director of Business Development and Technical at Prudential.
He has worked in the financial services profession for over 32 years, and has previous experience as an IFA as well as holding senior pension roles at Clerical Medical and Winterthur Life.
Vince is an experienced platform presenter at industry events and a regular contributor to trade and national publications on all matters relating to retirement issues. He is a Fellow of the Personal Finance Society.
Vince lives in East Anglia with his partner and son, aged 18.
