The cost of Long Term care is escalating and legislation keeps changing, making this one of the biggest challenges both emotionally and financially, that your clients will face. A financial adviser is likely to be involved in the process, but do you really know what it is you can offer as a service? This session is designed to help you to decide if you wish to operate in this specialist area.
Darren will provide a general view of the rising costs of the Long Term care market, how the processes involved are evolving, and what has driven the changes.
We will look at how an adviser can support a client through the care process, and assist with providing funding options at the appropriate stage.
Finally we will look at the differences between the two main Long Term care annuity options and how the health of a client can make a difference.
