In this Seminar Darren Amos will discuss the benefits of making plans for your retirement, and the pros and cons of the various options open for you to consider, including actual Pension schemes.
Darren will look at why it is essential to have a properly planned retirement strategy as a central part of your overall financial planning.
You will learn why it is ‘worth bothering’ about putting some of your funds aside for later and how your own Pension or Retirement Plan can be tailored to suit your own plans in your later life.
Learning outcomes
1. You will understand the benefits of choosing the right Retirement provision as you build up your assets before retirement
2. You will understand the different taxation applied to the various choices you may consider in your Retirement planning
3. You will understand the flexibility of choices you can make at retirement, within your chosen provision.
About the speaker
Darren works for a locally based IFA firm Anstee & Co. as an Independent Financial designer. He has a great deal of experience in both personal and corporate finance advice, and has Later Life accreditation with the Personal Finance Society.
In recent years he has focused on the Later life arena, including Pensions and Later life lending. After many years in the financial services industry he is now keen to pass on the knowledge and experience he has gained, to both his colleagues in the industry and to the wider public.
