Dear Fellow Members,

It’s an honour and privilege to have been elected to serve you as the President of the Insurance Institute of Northern Ireland and I look forward to the year ahead and the many opportunities and no doubt challenges that it will present.

I couldn’t undertake this role without the support of council. We are extremely fortunate to have such a dedicated and enthusiastic local council to support one another; it is very much a team effort and I’ve just been elected team captain. But a captain is only as good as the team he or she has around them and I’m very confident that in our team we have the very best players on the pitch to ensure our Institute is as successful as it can be and indeed one the best in the UK & Ireland. Watch out over the next 12 months to ‘Get to Know’ the members of the team.

We represent almost 2,000 members and I look forward to your support and invite you to actively get involved; share your views, expertise, and insights whether via myself directly, a member of council or via the ambassadors that have kindly volunteered to represent their employers over the past couple of years.
