Neil Cahill
Fraud in a Post-Recession Economy

A Partner in Tughans, Neil's main area of focus is on defence civil litigation in relation to road traffic accidents, public and employers' liability claims.

He frequently represents clients in the County Court, High Court, Magistrates Courts and at Appeal Tribunals.

Together with Laura McKee, Neil will explore how fraudulent claims differ in positive and negative economic environments. For example, do the instances of suspected fraud go up or down or do insurer's priorities shift when the economy is improving and there is less pressure on margins?
