Charity Christmas Jumper Day and Christmas Treasure Hunt
The Insurance Institute of Northern Ireland are happy to announce that they will be holding their first annual charity Christmas jumper day on Thursday, December 15, 2016.
We've figured out that sometimes the best way to tackle a serious problem is to do something really silly.
That's why on Thursday, December 15, 2016 people in offices across Northern Ireland should be wearing a wooly (and preferably silly) Christmas jumper to help support The Welcome Organisation, a homeless charity based in Belfast.
We would encourage everyone taking part to donate directly to the charity in order to help make a difference to someone this Christmas.
Donating is easy – simply text ‘WELC22 £2’ to 70070 to donate £2 to The Welcome Organisation. 100% of every donation will go to The Welcome Organisation.
What's more we would like you to show us your support by tweeting pictures to @CII_NIreland and @homelessbelfast
Christmas Treasure Hunt
Later that evening we have planned a treasure hunt in and around Belfast. So your fancy fashion choice does not go to waste.
Registration will begin at 5:30pm at the Clayton Hotel in Ormeau Avenue, with the first team will setting off at 6pm.
Food will be served at the final secret destination (do not fear it is a pub) at 7:30pm.
Cost is £20 per team consisting of no more than five individuals. Prizes will be given for the first (quickest) team home and also for the best Christmas jumper - male and female.
Registration of teams should be sent to Therese.McKenna@crawco.co.uk
