How long have you been on the Insurance Institute of Norwich’s Council?

I have been a member since 2017/2018 (with a break in 2020/21 whilst on maternity leave).

What is your role, and what does it involve?

I don’t currently have a specific role and am there to support the Officers. Before maternity leave, I was chair of the New Professionals Group and keen to take on more of a role next year.

Why did you decide to join the Council?

I wanted to develop my understanding of the insurance industry and get to know other people locally who work in insurance.

What are you most looking forward to in the forthcoming year on the Council?

I’m looking forward to the IIN Annual Dinner on the 11 November – it sounds like it’s shaping up to be a great event.

Tell us one unusual fact about yourself

I am a padi qualified scuba diver (despite being scared of the sea) and once got chased by a sea turtle…
