Root Cause Analysis and why firms, regulators and clients will be demanding more.
In a climate of rapidly increasing complexity, integration and regulation the ability to solve complex broad-reaching problems is becoming ever more essential. Lead by regulatory bodies, notably in audit, accounting and banking, Root Cause Analysis has become an essential tool in ensuring quality, integrity and compliance in a rapidly growing number of professions. A further incentive occurred in 2016 when the World Economic Forum published a report highlighting that structured problem solving was now the single most important skill required by leading firms if they are to maintain their positions. Worryingly, they also highlight that it is a skill in very short supply. This presentation will provide an overview of the effectiveness, application and scope of the method.
