Wine Tasting and Christmas Social

Time: 6.00pm (for 6.30 start) – 8pm

Members and guests are invited to an evening of wine tasting and socialising in the City Centre. This is the perfect opportunity to get in touch with likeminded wine aficionados.

Let Brian take you through an evening showing 6 wines form different areas of the viniferious world. Start with a glass of bubbles and move on to two white wines and three red wines. Each wine will be accompanied with tasting notes and then some time to discuss the wine and socialise with other guests.

The objective of the evening is to discuss the Old World wines in direct contrast to the New World wines on offer. You may find a new wine that you can’t live without, and just in time for dropping hints for Christmas.

As King Edward VII once said:

‘One not only drinks wine, one smells it, observes it, tastes it, sips it and – one talks about it’

Places are strictly limited and available for a fee of £15.

There will be a cake auction on the night with all proceeds to be donated to the presidents chosen charity.
