AGM 2017

Our annual AGM was held on May 18th 2017 with the Presidency passed from Cath Ball to Juliet Williams and where Kirsten Watson was presented with a Life Vice President award. This was all celebrated with a meal afterwards. Please check out our photos.

(To get down to its AGM, that is…) Did you know that there are 59 local institutes across the UK, Isle of Man and Channel Islands? Every one is different, but we share a common goal: to sustain, enhance and advance the careers of CII and Personal Finance Society members.

Nottingham Insurance Institute has teamed up with Nottingham Trent University to help them find Internships for their International Business course Students. The internships last for 4 months and allow a student to work within local relevant companies in order to deepen their business knowledge and develop their understanding further. It is also an insight into the working world. Whilst only a handful of successful placements were taken up in February this year, as an Institute, we hope to promote this more in the future to assist NTU in providing this invaluable assistance to their Students.
