As a newsletter subscriber, we wanted to update you on this year's Awareness Week campaign which is taking place shortly. We want to ensure that no insurance employee in need of our help misses out, so hope that you and your employer will get involved however you can. If you belong to a local insurance network we hope that they can support the campaign too! Our digital Supporter Toolkit is now available to download below. We'd be grateful if you could also share this with your marketing/communications teams or those responsible for your social media. We are delighted to be offering a free special dementia awareness training course being delivered during Awareness Week through our partners at Alzheimer’s Society. Dementia awareness training is a skills-based course suitable for anyone who would like to improve their knowledge and understanding of dementia. This course will cover: The signs and symptoms of dementia, how dementia affects behaviour, the senses, and communication, how to build positive relationships with people affected by dementia using increased knowledge, empathy, and practical skills. The session will be delivered virtually on Thursday 23 June and is open to anyone working within the insurance sector. Places are limited so we'd encourage you to book now to avoid disappointment. If the course becomes oversubscribed we will have a waiting list in case of any last-minute delegate cancellations.
