Every one is different, but we share a common goal: to sustain, enhance and advance the careers of CII and Personal Finance Society members.

**Funeral Update - Helen's funeral will take place at Wilford Hill Crematorium at 10am on the 26th May - all welcome. As a fitting tribute to Helen and in her memory money is being raised for Cancer Research UK - if anyone would like to make a donation please copy and paste the link below. https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/helen-wilcox2022 The wake following the service is to be a small private one, something Helen would have wanted and mainly for family. *** It is with deepest sadness that The Nottingham Insurance Institute has to announce the passing of one of our most dedicated members, Helen Wilcox, after a short but incredibly brave fight with cancer. Helen has been a big part of The NII for over 30 years, holding many roles within the Council during her tenure, including taking on the role of President not only in 2009-2011 but again in 2020-2021. She was a huge advocate of education and development and was committed to delivering successful support to professionals within the insurance arena. Not only did Helen take on a wider role as a Vice President at the CII she was also awarded a CII Distinguished Service Award in recognition of all her hard work for both The NII & The CII. Over the years Helen has connected with so many people throughout the Insurance Industry, earning the respect for her knowledge, ethos and commitment from all who knew her and those who knew of her. She was a guiding light in the advocacy for Professionalism in Insurance and will be greatly missed by all. I am sure you will join with us in sending our sincere condolences to her family and friends, who have asked for privacy at this difficult time. Joanne Marriott, President.
