How to satisfy your CPD Requirements

Why you should attend Geoff will clearly explain the CPD requirements for members of the institute with tips on how to satisfy them and warnings about some of the pitfalls that can be encountered plus what you can expect if you are asked by the CII to evidence your record. He will address a serious subject in his usual laconic style which will bring a bit of fun to the event. Easily understand the CII CPD rules and obligations. Build a Personal Development Plan – and link it to your CPD activity. Learn how to record activity that you undertake in the most effective way for you. Understand the difference between structured and non structured activity. What to do when you get asked to submit your records.
Learning Objectives At the end of this event, the delegates will have a good understanding of what CPD activity to undertake, how to record it and how to demonstrate that it is suitable for your own personal requirements.
Speaker Biography Geoff is a Development Team Leader with Allianz Insurance. He is experienced in the b2b Insurer to Insurance Intermediary Commercial sector. Focused on process improvement and service delivery. Experienced in Sales and Marketing - and passionate about customer centric thinking. He is a firm believer in maximising the opportunities to do more business, by having face to face dealings with your customers. He has many "talents" including that of a classical musician and singer. Geoff is also a past President and current Deputy President of the Insurance Institute of Sheffield.

The Nottingham Insurance Institute charges for non-attendance at all CPD events. If you do find that you are unable to attend, we ask that you give us at least 4 working days notice that you are no longer able to attend.
Please note, if you fail to let us know before this deadline, we will need to charge a £30.00 (inc. VAT) non-attendance fee to cover the cost of catering, booking arrangements and denial of your place to other members.
All cancellations must be received by email and you will receive confirmation of your cancellation. You may also nominate a replacement if you are unable to attend. By proceeding with the registration you agree to these terms and conditions
