Session content

This informative session will cover the tax rules and benefits of tax advantaged products. It is a refresher for those already recommending these types of products and for those that don’t, this session will bust a few myths and build on your existing knowledge.

Learning Objectives:

  • To understand the key tax rules and benefits around the 3 main tax advantaged products – VCT, EIS, and Business Relief IHT schemes

  • To have a better understanding of the risks and benefits of these products

  • Identify what a typical client looks like for these products?

Desired outcomes:

  • Increased confidence and understanding of these product areas

  • Being able to recognise what an appropriate client may be?

Breakfast rolls will be available from 8.30 followed by the seminar at 9 to 10 am.

The Nottingham Insurance Institute charges for non-attendance at all CPD events. If you do find that you are unable to attend, we ask that you give us at least 4 working days notice that you are no longer able to attend.

All cancellations must be received by email and you will receive confirmation of your cancellation. You may also nominate a replacement if you are unable to attend. By proceeding with the registration you agree to these terms and conditions.

Please note, if you fail to let us know before this deadline, we will need to charge a £30.00 (inc. VAT) non-attendance fee to cover the cost of catering, booking arrangements and denial of your place to other members.
