This session is for anyone, Directors / Account Executives / Account Handlers involved in placing or dealing on a day to day basis with commercial insurance business.
Anyone with a genuine interest in learning more about Engineering Inspections and the associated statutory regulations that the inspections fall under.

Learning Objectives
By the end of the session, delegates will:
- Be able to confidently discuss with clients the need for inspections
- Understand which regulations apply
- learn to identify certain plant items when at clients
- Understand the different inspection frequencies that apply
- Learn how to sell the Fixed Electrical Wiring Service to your clients.
- Have a better understanding of the mechanics of an examination and what is involved.
A light buffet lunch and refreshments will be available from 12.15 with the seminar starting at 1p.m. for an hour.

Gavin Mitchell is the Managing Director of Inspection Network Ltd (INL) who specialise in the statutory inspections of plant and equipment under the various relevant regulations.
Gavin has been at INL for 12 years and has always been involved in the insurance industry since leaving school. He has dealt with everything from marine to commercial risks before joining INL.

The Nottingham Insurance Institute charges for non-attendance at all CPD events. If you do find that you are unable to attend, we ask that you give us at least 4 working days’ notice that you are no longer able to attend.
Please note, if you fail to let us know before this deadline, we will need to charge a £30.00 (inc. VAT) non-attendance fee to cover the cost of catering, booking arrangements and denial of your place to other members.
All cancellations must be received by email and you will receive confirmation of your cancellation. You may also nominate a replacement if you are unable to attend. By proceeding with the registration, you agree to these terms and conditions.
