Presenter: Jamie Jordan, Deputy Agent - Bank of England
Jamie is the Bank of England’s Deputy Agent for the East Midlands. In this role he supports the Monetary Policy Committee by reporting to them on current economic conditions prevailing across the region, and by externally delivering key analytical and policy messages to the public.
Another important part of the role is to communicate the Bank’s views on the economy to those businesses, organisations and people. Combining those things contributes to the Bank’s mission of promoting the good of the people of the UK by maintaining monetary and financial stability.
