What or Who Dunnit? .... Forensically Speaking!
We are happy to announce that your next CPD event will comprise two speakers from Hawkins Forensic Scientists, who will discuss investigation of escape of water claims and building defects and failures.
By the end of the session you will understand that forensics is not just for working out who or what dunnit but can play an important part in successful claims handling. Is the claim genuine? What is the cause? Who is to blame and is there a recovery against a manufacturer or contractor?
Learning objectives
By attending this event delegates will be able to identify:
• Structural cracks and linking them to foundation type and movement.
• Understanding water ingress into basements.

• Understanding how and when to involve forensic consultants on a loss
