The 92nd Insurance Institute of Peterborough Annual Charity Dinner - Masquerade Ball

We are delighted to formally invite you to the 92^nd Insurance Institute of Peterborough Annual Dinner on Friday 7^th February 2025 at The Haycock Manor Hotel, Wansford, Peterborough PE8 6JA.

This year’s theme is a Masquerade Ball, so don’t forget your mask! The Haycock is a perfect setting for an evening of dancing and intrigue in the spirit of the Masquerade, with the building dating back to at least the 16^th century. Mary Queen of Scots is said to have lodged there on her way to imprisonment and later royal guests include Queen Victoria and Princess Diana.

This black tie evening will begin at 6.30 pm with drinks in the bar, followed by speeches and awards, and then the dinner. The evening’s entertainment will be a show dance by ex-Strictly professional Flavia Cacace and her actor husband, Jimi Mistry, followed by a group dance lesson for all and the main ball in the Haycock’s beautiful ballroom.

Following on from the main event, there will be a raffle and charity casino, with the proceeds going to Alzheimer’s Society.

If you wish to stay the night, we have provisionally booked available rooms at the Hotel for a discounted rate of £175 for single occupancy including breakfast or £185 for double occupancy, including breakfast. Tickets are £90 for individuals but tables of ten can be booked for ease.

Our President Robert Weald's chosen charity this year is Alzheimer’s Society, who provide vital support working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives.
