Beach Clean

The Chartered Insurance Institute in partnership with SAS, Clean Cornwall and Cornish Mutual invite members, family and friends (and your furry 4 legged ones too!) to a beach clean at Perranporth.

Perranporth and its 3 mile long beach face the Atlantic Ocean. At low tide Perranporth beach and neighbouring Penhale sands join together to form one of the largest stretches of unbroken sand on the North Coast.

You will be given the necessary equipment (courtesy of Cornish Mutual, SAS and Clean Cornwall) to clean the beach from the Dunes to the rock-pools and across the golden sands. The aim to find micro plastic and debris and remove it from this beautiful site.

Please remember to wear suitable clothing for the weather conditions of the day.

Meeting at 09:30 onwards at The Watering Hole for registration and to collect your kit.

Look out for the Cornish Mutual red flags.
